AWARD WINNING POP ARTIST MICHAEL ALBERT WORKSHOP, Saturday, April 17th via ZOOM at 10am. In celebration of Earth Day, Zoom with New York Pop Artist Michael Albert and learn how to create your masterpiece by using recyclables you can gather around the house. Open to all ages. FRANKENTOYS! Wednesday, April 28th from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. at the library. Calling all teens! Bring your old toys to our mad science lab to share and make your new creations! We’ll be using tools, hot glue and paint to bring your dead toys to life. (insert creepy music here) Program will be physically distanced with masks required. Space is limited, so register early. Storytime Shorts, Mondays at 10:00 a.m. via Facebook. Join four smart UW Platteville students as they read a book and create a craft extension along with you! Pick up your craft kits at the circulation desk where four projects will be prepped and ready for you to craft along with these early childhood educators.
Toddler Tales, Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. Join Kristin every Tuesday morning as we explore books, new vocabulary, rhythm, music and movement. To register, contact Kristin at email@example.com or call the library at 608-723-7304.
Tinker Tuesdays, Second and Fourth Tuesdays at 3:45 p.m. via Facebook. Join Kristin online to create a STEAM related project.
Teen Advisory Board (TAB) every 4th Wednesday from 4:30-6:00 p.m. via Zoom.
● What do we do?
○ Suggest young adult materials for the library
○ Plan, promote, and implement programs and events for youth in your area
○ Provide a voice for the youth and get involved in your community
○ Gain volunteer experience
● What is expected?
○ To attend over 50% of the meetings
○ To be an active participant on the board
○ To attend and promote the programs and events the board has planned
