Programming for June 2021  

• Tuesdays at 10:30am at Schreiner Memorial Library for Tails and Tales:

With summer upon us, that means Summer Library Program at the Library with many exciting events in store. As there is a team of Tails and Tales, there will be a variety of animal-themed events all summer at the Library! 

Don’t forget to log summer reading by downloading the Beanstack app or picking up a reading log at Schreiner Memorial Library for a chance to win from your choice of cool prizes. All ages are welcome to join in the challenges for a chance to win!

June 8th–Pony Day with the Seippel family and their pony Cole, plus lasso experts Bridee and Lainee Burks

June 15th–Bats with Professor Jeff Huebschman

June 22nd–Backyard Pals with Sue and Tammy of Big River Organics

June 29th–A Box of Kittens with the Grant County Humane Society

June 16th at 1:00pm–Fingerprint Investigation Workshop: Our very own Lancaster police department will share knowledge about fingerprinting and set up crime scenes for us to solve.

June 23rd at 10:00am–Author Visit Wednesday: Platteville librarian and author Lydia Sigwarth as she shares her newly published children’s book “Dear Librarian”

Every Wednesday:

  • Toddler Tales at 9:30am: join Kristin as we explore books, vocabulary, rhythm, music and movement. Birth-4 years old.
  • Lego Club at 10:00am: join Jenna as we experiment with Legos. Every week is a new Lego challenge! In the community rooms at Schreiner Memorial Library.
