The Schreiner Memorial Library is looking for applicants to fill the part-time position of Library Assistant I.

This position will work 8 to 10 hours a week with a rotating Saturday shift, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, approximately every fourth Saturday. The pay rate is $12 per hour.

Duties include serving the public by greeting patrons as they enter, checking materials in and out, aiding with the collection and technology, and assisting in other library operations.

The job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, climbing, and
sitting. Evening and weekend availability and scheduling flexibility are a must, as this
position frequently fills in for other staff absences.
