Teen Advisory Board Internship

Are you 12-19 years old? Are you located in the Lancaster or Potosi school districts? Do you want to make a difference in your community through the library while also working on personal growth?

Schreiner Memorial Library will be hosting an internship for one teen. Not only will you get a chance to show leadership within TAB, but you will also work on workplace readiness skills such as mastering interviews and writing an effective resume. At the conclusion of the program the intern will be awarded $250.00. Sponsored by a grant from Alliant Energy.

TAB intern duties include:

Attending all meetings for TAB and taking a leadership role, i.e. leading meetings

Planning fun event/programs for TAB members

Suggest young adult materials to improve the YA collection

Practice and improve interview skills with other TAB members

Develop a professional resume

Be a voice for the youth in the community

Act as a mentor for other TAB members

Be an enthusiastic team player
